Refund policy
We hope you will be satisfied with your purchases from Abbey Furniture. However, should you wish to return an item purchased from us either in-store or online, the following procedures and regulations will apply. Please note that items delivered in error, damaged or are faulty, have their own returns policy which is detailed below.
In Store Purchases
We are happy to accept items as returns when purchased within 14 days of purchase date provided the returned goods are in a saleable condition, in their original packaging and have not been used or damaged. Certain items such as rugs, mirrors, accessories and pictures must be returned within 48 hours.
Should we accept your returned item we will issue you with a credit note. Please note we do not offer cash refunds.
Made to measure or bespoke items may be returned in exceptional circumstances (please see below).
For hygiene reasons, Pillows, Bedlinen, Mattresses and Mattress Toppers which have been removed from their original packaging may not be returned unless they are faulty.
On-Line Purchases
If you purchase an item from us online, you may return the item, cancel the contract prior to delivery or cancel the contract within 14 days of delivery for a full refund provided the returned goods are in a saleable condition, in their original packaging and have not been used or damaged. Special order, made to measure or bespoke items may be returned in exceptional circumstances (please see below).
You will, however, be responsible for any postage/courier charges to return the item. This includes large furniture items the Abbey Furniture Home Delivery Service Team delivered to you.
Please ensure to use appropriate packaging as only items that reach us in perfect condition will be accepted as returns. Once the item has been returned our customer service personnel will review it and once approved, your account will be credited. Please allow 28 days for the money to be refunded to your account.
Special Order, Bespoke Items & Made to Measure
In exceptional circumstances, we may agree to accept the return of a special order/made to measure or bespoke item.
For orders of special order/made to measure or bespoke items ordered in-store a 30% deposit is required to secure that order. Should we agree to accept the cancellation of your order we reserve the right to keep your deposit.
For online sales of special order/made to measure items or bespoke items, that we agree to accept as a return, we reserve the right to withhold 30% of the value you paid to purchase the item.

Faulty & Defective Items
If you receive an item from us that is faulty or defective please contact our customer service department immediately. We will ensure to remedy the situation for you as soon as possible.

Abbey Furniture has the right to repair replace or refund the customer with the full purchase price including delivery charge (if applicable) for a faulty and defective item.
Please ensure to measure the room and access points to your room prior to ordering furniture. All items we sell online include dimensions; however, they are for guidance only.
If you are returning large furniture items the Abbey Furniture Home Delivery Team delivered to you, which we have agreed to accept as a returned item, you have the choice of using your own method of delivery to return the item(s) to us or our Delivery Service personnel will collect the item/s you wish to return and the following charges apply
